Last week, the folks from our office took a field trip to see the brand-new Brandywine Realty Trust headquarters at Philadelphia's FMC Tower at Cira Centre South. The trip was part of our firm's regularly scheduled professional development event we call "First Thursday." During the event, our designers and architects get to tour a recently completed project designed by yours truly, L2P.
Brandywine Realty Trust is one of the largest, publicly traded, full-service, integrated real estate companies in the United States. Given their "best of class" reputation and strong portfolio, it was important that their new headquarters showcase the company's accomplishments and support their collaborative culture. L2P designed the space to promote professionalism, innovation, and progressive strategy. It was paramount to convey a high level of sophistication to reinforce the company's values and expertise. The design team also paid close attention to making the space inviting and infused those ideas into the handful of retreat spaces provided throughout the floor plan. While enhancing openness and transparency, the space also delivers exceptional views of much of their Philadelphia building portfolio from a spectacular vantage point 17-stories above ground level.
